GJB 150.5-86 standard specifies the impact test method of cold and hot impact test chamber, which is the basis and selection basis for formulating the technical conditions of military equipment or product standards and other technical documents.

The provisions of GJB 150.1-86 general rules for environmental test methods of military equipment are applicable to this standard.

This standard is applicable to military equipment that may encounter rapid temperature change environment (such as aircraft non temperature control cabin equipment, or external, air drop and air transport equipment).

This standard is not applicable to military equipment immersed in cold water after being heated by warm air and solar radiation to withstand temperature shock or temperature shock caused by rapid gas transient of engine and compressor.

The cold and hot shock test chamber is mainly used for the adaptability test of electronic and electrical products, their raw devices and other materials during storage, transportation and use under the environment of rapid temperature change. The equipment mainly carries out environmental simulation test on the physical and other relevant characteristics of the product by placing the test materials under the condition of instantaneous change of high temperature and low temperature. After the test, it can judge whether the performance of the product meets the requirements through testing.
